The German Council of Oral Surgery and Implantology (GCSI) and the International Medical College (IMC)® are scientific partners. GCSI is in cooperation with IMC® regarding the accreditation of postgraduate education programs in oral surgery and implantology and also partner of the German Foundation of Surgery “Deutsche Chirugie Stiftung” (DCS).


GCSI is through IMC® a scientific partner of the following Government universities supported by IMC®: University of Dresden / Germany and University of Homburg/Saarland.


In addition GCSI and IMC® are from 2018 under the umbrella of the German well-known Government University Duisburg – Essen, offering Part time (60 ECTS) and Full time (120 ECTS) Master of Science degrees.


The issued Certificate from GCSI "Competency in Dental Implantology" (CDI) is recognized by IMC and University Duisburg / Essen within the framework of the academic Master of Science program. This applies to Full-time Master (120 ECTS) and Part-time Master (60 ECTS).

The “CDI” certificate allows the delegate to enroll and get accepted in this Master of Science program for Implantology and Dental Surgery (Full time and Part-time).

The given Master of Science degree is “Master of Science in Implantology and Dental Surgery (M.Sc.) “
The certificate is issued by the German Government University Duisburg- Essen.

Delegates who are certified by GCSI have advantages in study time and university fees regarding these Master of Science programs.

Part Time Master (60 ECTS):

- Time reduction : second training block in Germany is recognized, attendance for this training block is not necessary. This leads to reduction of travelling expenses.

Full Time Master (120 ECTS):

The German University in Postgraduate Specialization


From the study year 2018 the IMC® Master Programs will be affiliated to the University of Duisburg- Essen, and degrees will be awarded jointly by the University of Duisburg-Essen and the IMC®. The IMC® Master Programs will be part of the study program of the University of Duisburg-Essen, but still be carried out cooperatively with the well-known IMC® partner universities of Dresden, Saarland, Szeged and Mahidol University in Bangkok.
